Bellissima
Opera LLC was founded in 2006 to present the highest standards
of classical singing to a variety of audiences. Our singers have sung
with some of the major opera houses and orchestras in the country. We
have received critical acclaim for presenting shows that many people
can see, at a price they can afford, and in a setting which is intimate.
By doing so, we hope to reach familiar and new audiences and preserve
this art form that is so dear to our hearts.

Bellissima
Opera has performed throughout
Chicagoland and in Southeast Michigan. We have numerous types of programs
that can cater to many different venues: a traveling production of La
Traviata and Madame Butterfly as well as concerts containing a mix of
opera highlights, sacred music and showtunes. We have made two CDs,
"Caroline Myss' Voices of the Sacred" and "A Night in
May."

Bellissima Opera Outreach has performed for over 4800 school children since its launch in October of 2009 - giving a series of intimate concerts to kids ranging from pre-k through high school. These concerts, at the childrens' own schools, are then followed by a question and answer session. Health, positive self-esteem and working together are addressed. ..........(See School Outreach) |
